Symptoms
Symptoms of vaginismus may even start while thinking or talk about intercourse or undergoing pelvic / gynaecolgical examination or using a tampon or touch on vagina by self or partner.
One may not come to know about vaginismus, unless a woman tries to insert a finger or tampon or attempts for pelvic examination or sexual intercourse.
Vaginismus can be present in a woman in many ways as :
- Woman is unable to insert a tampon or even ear bud into the vagina.
- Woman is unable to insert self or partners finger into the vagina.
- Woman is unable to have penile intercourse.
