SEVERITY

The Severity of Vaginismus can vary depending on the spasm of the vaginial muscles, generally the severity of vaginismus can present in following ways :

• Woman doesn’t allow any kind of penetration into the vagina.
• Woman doesn’t allow partner even to touch thighs or surrounding area of vagina
• Woman allows to touch thighs but not surrounding area of vagina.
• Woman allows to touch outer surface of vagina i.e. labia majora & clitoris.
• Woman can insert her own single finger with or without pain but She does not allow anything else to be inserted.
• Woman can insert her own two fingers with or without pain. She does not allow anything else to be inserted.
